I studied Industrial Design at EUCD/Farq in Uruguay and Design Cultures at VU University Amsterdam (cum laude). I worked in design practice and education for 15 years in Uruguay, Brazil and the Netherlands. In the last 5 years I've been focusing on design research.

My design experience includes both independent projects and in-house commissions at design studios such as Metamorfoses Design and Design Inverso in Brazil. I have also been active in design education, teaching at Bachelor and Master levels in industrial design, fashion design and design culture in institutions such as UNERJ and Orbitato (SC, Brazil), EUCD / Farq (UdelaR, Uruguay), VU University Amsterdam, WDKA (Rotterdam) and Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI).

My research activities started more recently; in 2012-2013 I was an Embedded Researcher in a collaborative project of VU University and Waag Society. In 2014 I developed my own research as an Affiliated Researcher at the VU (Faculty of Arts) and in 2015 I started a PhD at the VU University based on a research position at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (Lectoraat Fashion Research and Technology).
